Service description

The B license training consists of four essential components

  • ME
  • GAME & PLAYERS
  • ORGANIZATION and
  • FOOTBALL SYSTEM

and represent a holistic approach. The focus is on understanding, managing, and developing/utilizing each component. The training is competence-oriented and based on the requirements and problems encountered in the participants' everyday sporting lives.

ME:
- Understanding roles, values, and requirements as a coach in amateur competitive soccer (including development vs. results-oriented coaching; dependence on age group)
- Reflection on one's own skills, responsibilities, and opportunities for support
- Techniques for creating a self-concept and personal profile
- Methods for defining personal development goals
- Goals in youth and adult soccer
- Models for dealing with stress and methods for stress management

GAME & PLAYERS:
- Motivations and requirements for players in amateur competitive soccer
- Detailed structure of game phases
- Team tactical principles
- Position profiles
- Fundamentals of decision-making behavior
- Technical and tactical principles for individual game phases
- Fundamentals of video and training analysis
- Game analysis and development of a match plan
- Detailed analysis of soccer actions
- Age- and development-appropriate presentation of analysis results
- Methodological principles of training planning, implementation, and follow-up
- Game-oriented training of technique and tactics
- Long-term training planning taking into account the developmental characteristics of the players
- Combination of small group/position training and team training
- Individualization
- Relative age effect, biological age, and bio-banding
- Integrative goalkeeper training
- Coaching principles
- Cooperation within the (coaching) team
- Soccer fitness in the context of developmental phases
- Fundamentals of performance diagnostics

ORGANIZATION:
- Structure of state association organizations and how to use them for your own work
- Leadership styles and their influence on the team
- Team leadership, age-appropriate coaching, motivation
- Target group-oriented communication
- Conflict behavior
- Feedback methods and techniques
- Influencing factors and methods for team development
- Roles and distribution of tasks within the coaching team

SYSTEM:
- Soccer development and innovation
- Looking beyond the horizon to other nations, sports, performance areas, etc.
- Importance of the players' environment on their development (talent promotion system, soccer schools, advisors, etc.)

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum age of 17
- Proof of membership in a BFV club
- Medical certificate of fitness for sports (not older than twelve months)
- Extended police clearance certificate as proof of good character (original - not older than three months)
- Declaration that the applicant agrees to abide by the statutes and regulations of the DFB and its relevant regional association.
- Proof of basic first aid training (9 lessons of 45 minutes each), which must have been completed no more than two years prior to licensing.
- BFV license agreement

Each participant will receive a kit consisting of:
shorts
long pants
T-shirt
training top
rain jacket
