Age: 16 to 99 years
The C-Licence component builds on this foundation to develop:
- deeper methodological and didactic coaching skills;
- the ability to train and manage teams at district level;
- competence in applying training theory to practice.
Target group:
This course is designed for football coaches who want to begin or advance their coaching career;
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 15 years (DFB Basic Coach)
- Membership in a club affiliated with the Bavarian Football Association (BFV).
- Proof of membership in a club of the Bavarian Football Association.
- Proof of physical fitness, not older than one year.
- Proof of a clean extended police clearance certificate.
- Acceptance of the statutes and regulations.
- Completion of the 15th year of age.
- Proof of completion of a 9-hour first aid course, which must not be older than two years at the time of licensing. The first aid course must be valid in accordance with Section 19 of the German Driving Licence Regulation (FeV).
- BFV licence agreement.
Contents:
The training programme is based on four key pillars:
- SELF
- GAME & PLAYERS
- ORGANISATION
- FOOTBALL SYSTEM
These pillars represent a holistic approach. The focus is on understanding, managing and developing/applying each individual component. The training programme is competence-oriented and aligned with real-life performance situations from the participants’ sporting practice.

Duration of the course:
In addition to the classroom-based course, the course also includes additional online events (onboarding and child protection training). The dates for these will take place prior to the classroom-based course and will be announced shortly.
The course can only be considered “passed” if all parts of the online and application phases are successfully completed within the specified deadlines and 100% attendance is achieved during the attendance phase. Individual achievements cannot be deducted from the total price.
Completion & Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded the DFB C Licence as well as the BLSV/DOSB licence eligible for subsidies.
Each participant will receive a kit consisting of:
