Age: 16 to 99 years
The B-License course (incl. accommodation) consists of the following four essential modules:
ME
GAME & PLAYER
ORGANIZATION
SYSTEM FOOTBALL
These modules represent a holistic approach. The focus is on understanding, managing, and developing/utilizing each module. The training is competency-oriented and based on real-life situations and challenges from the participants’ sporting everyday life.
ME:
- Understanding the role, values, and requirements profile of a coach in amateur performance football (e.g., development vs. results-oriented coach; dependency on age group)
- Reflection on one’s own competencies and responsibilities, and possibilities for support
- Techniques for creating a self-concept and personal profile
- Methods for defining personal development goals
- Goals in youth and adult football
- Models for dealing with stress and methods for stress management
GAME & PLAYER:
- Motives and requirements for players in amateur performance football
- Detailed structure of the phases of play
- Team tactical principles
- Position profiles
- Basics of decision-making behavior
- Technical-tactical principles for the individual phases of play
- Basics of video and training analysis
- Match analysis and development of a match plan
- Detailed analysis of football actions
- Age- and development-appropriate presentation of analysis results
- Methodological principles of training planning, execution, and follow-up
- Game-oriented training of technique and tactics
- Long-term training planning considering the developmental characteristics of the players
- Linking small group/position training and team training
- Individualization
- Relative age effect, biological age, and bio-banding
- Integrative goalkeeper training
- Coaching principles
- Collaboration within the (coaching) team
- Football fitness in the context of development phases
- Basics of performance diagnostics
ORGANIZATION:
- Structure of regional football associations and how to use them for your own work
- Leadership styles and their influence on the team
- Team management, age-appropriate coaching, motivation
- Target group-oriented communication
- Conflict behavior
- Feedback methods and techniques
- Influencing factors and methods for team development
- Roles and task distribution within the coaching team
SYSTEM:
- Football development and innovation
- Looking beyond football: other nations, sports, performance areas, etc.
- The importance of the players’ environment for their development (talent development systems, football academies, agents, etc.)
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of the 17th year of age
- Medical certificate of physical fitness (not older than twelve months)
- Extended police clearance certificate as proof of good conduct (original – not older than three months)
- Declaration that the applicant submits to the statutes and regulations of the DFB and its relevant regional association Proof of basic first aid training (9 units of 45 minutes each), which must not be older than two years at the time of licensing.

+++ATTENTION: The course will be held entirely in English, and flights are not included in the price! The payment deadline for the course is 8 weeks before the start of the license!+++
Each participant will receive an equipment package consisting of:
Shorts
Long pants
T-shirt
Training top
Rain jacket
There is also the option to book a combination package of the UEFA C and B License. In this case, you will acquire the UEFA C License in March 2026 and the UEFA B License in October 2026.
